Through our grassroots leadership development programs, biblical training, and community outreach, we empower individuals to break the cycle of poverty and become agents of change in their communities.

A Message From The Founder
My name is Bjorn Thore Johansen and I’m the founder of Outreach Asia. I have worked in Asia for more than 15 years, in business development and mission.
The whole concept for Outreach Asia is to help young leaders to become a gamechanger in their own nations, with all respect to the missionaries who have traveled with a one-way ticket and given their life on the mission fields.
We have been working in Nepal, Sri Lanka and Thailand for many years and have learned the culture and respect it. It makes us able to reach the young leaders in these nations.
Things is changing and the world is spinning faster, and we need to cope with that. What we’re doing is to train people in their own countries to reach their own nation.
They already speak the langue, know the culture, eat the local food and know how to communicate. Special with the young generation, who live in a digital world.
What are we doing? We take young leaders into an intense leader training program for 4 weeks.
We live, teach and mentoring them to be the leaders God want them to be. Vi give the tools to lead and develop Christian work in the Kingdom of God and in the profane world.
Not everyone is called to be a Pastor, many of the are called to witnesses at the marketplace.
We are a non-profit organization, our team travel and teaching on their own expenses and have other jobs who support them.

Our Mission
To equip and empower young people across Asia to live out their Christian faith boldly, lead with integrity, and impact their families, churches, and nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Bible Training & Discipleship
We provide foundational Bible training and discipleship to help individuals grow in their faith and develop a deep, personal relationship with Jesus. Through teaching, mentoring, and small group study, we equip believers to live out the Gospel boldly and share it with others.
Leadership Development for Youth
We identify and invest in young people with leadership potential, offering faith-based training that builds confidence, character, and vision. These future leaders are empowered to influence their communities for Christ and become role models of integrity, purpose, and service.
Community Outreach & Practical Support
Our outreach efforts bring tangible hope to communities through acts of compassion — from food distribution and education support to clean water and care programs. We serve in Jesus’ name, meeting physical needs while opening doors for spiritual transformation.

We work hand in hand with local churches and ministry partners who understand the unique needs of their communities. Together, we strengthen the body of Christ, create sustainable impact, and ensure every initiative is culturally relevant and spiritually fruitful.
